Norvida is the leading branded meat import company in the Nordic region and act as “Your guide in the world of meat”.
Norvida was founded in Stockholm in the year 1990. Today, we are a well-established partner for all things meat-related on both the retail market, food service and food industry. Our head office is located in Nacka, Stockholm. We also have a presence in Finland, Norway and Brazil. All in all, our team is comprised of around 30 people in Sweden and 10 people in other countries.

Norvida Oy in Finland is an independent subsidiary with a solid balance sheet. Our updated growth strategy has just been launched and that creates a lot of interesting occupational adventures. The Norvida team in Finland – currently consisting of 4 persons work very closely with the HQ in Sweden. The modern and pleasant offices are located close to the Helsinki Vantaa airport.
What you do
This position reports to the CEO of the company, and he/she is a vital part of the decision-making process in the company. Being a small company as it comes to member of the staff, everybody in Norvida must be capable of sharing and collaborating among colleagues and thus assuring the best possible outcome for the company in general.
This position has the primary responsibility for new customer acquisition and developing sales within the channel(s). In a growing company as Norvida there is also room to grow together with the company to ”bigger boots”.
As a first step you initially need to familiarize ”Norvida’s DNA” and our ways to work. After that you´ll get to know customer contacts and portfolios to start building strong customer relationship under pre-set timeline.
Next, a structured approach on how to gain accelerated sales from existing customers within this segment should be drawn and executed.
By the end of year one, plans and actions should be firmly established and proven to have a desirable outcome. A healthy — double digit growth within the segment is very much achievable within the first year of conducting business.
The intermediate target is to spread assortment and sales broader within the customers, so that there will be continuous sales 365 days a year and close partnership is developed together with clients.
What experience is needed to succeed?
•Key account/Sales Manager experience and/or similar sales development position
•Experience from the retail-/food service sector
•A proven track record on sales development and profitable business responsibility
•Customer interface working experience
•Knowledge of sales channels, customers and path of decision making is highly appreciated
•Past history and knowledge from the meat industry is a big plus
•We are a food company that loves food – and preferably you do as well
•We are a team, and we act as a team – so you´re clearly a team player
What skills are needed to succeed?
•You will be a highly motivated self-starter, a team-player who is able to build great relationships with both colleagues and customers.
•You like challenges, you crave for stunning results, you are business oriented and like to work with numbers.
•Your highly analytical, organized, reliable and efficient with meticulous attention to detail
•You are a natural communicator and like to interact with new contacts and can quickly gain trust and build strong relationships
•You have an entrepreneurial mindset
•You have solid IT skills, especially Office 360
•You like to build a growth plan and look forward to executing upon it
•You are a native Finnish speaker, and fluent in English. Swedish is a plus
•You have a driver’s license
•You like to have fun at work while delivering strong growth
